Repeat Backer Incentives

The original Classic Art Tokens project was an outstanding success and I have high hopes for our current project, Classic Art Tokens: Marble Edition.

I know several of you have already backed the project, and many more may still be on the fence. 

To help get you involved with our latest Kickstarter, we've created a Repeat Backer Incentive Program for anyone that backed the original project, pre-order backers included.

Any Backers from the original project that back Marble Edition will be sent one free Token of your choice with your Rewards. 

No need to include anything extra in your pledge, you will simply be able to include one extra Token of your choice when you complete your Survey after the project ends.

This is over and above any other free items that will be included with Stretch Goals (So far just 1 free die, but that will increase significantly as we get more support)

In addition to the Free Token for all Repeat Backers, we're giving you the chance to increase the incentive if we can hit a few milestones with Classic Art Tokens: Marble Edition.

If we can hit $30,000 by October 4th, just 7 days and less than $10,000 from where we are now, the number of Free Tokens will double to 2, with the option to get 1 Premium Token instead.

Next, if we can hit $50,000 by October 11th, just 9 days before the project ends, the number of Free Tokens will double again to 4, with the option to get 2 Premium Tokens instead. (Or a mix of 2 Regular, 1 Premium, etc.)

Finally, if we can beat the last project and raise $110,000 by October 20th, the number of Free Tokens for all Repeat Backers will double one more time to 8, with the option to get 4 Premium Tokens instead.

What would be unlocked via Stretch Goals, in addition to all of these free Tokens, if we hit this final level of the Incentive Program before the project ends?

Classic Art Tokens: Marble Edition is Live on Kickstarter!

Classic Art Tokens: Marble Edition just went live on Kickstarter, and we can't be more excited.

We've already shared the preview page in previous updates, but with the project now live, you can see the project video as well!

 

Notice a few familiar faces?

We teamed up with the fine folks at Loading Ready Run to produce our video and we can't be happier with the end result. If you like the video, share it on Facebook and spread the word about the launch.

Also new on the Project Page is a video of the Premium Tokens on full display. The video captures the brilliance of the Tokens and the design elements that will be captured in each, but the texture is what really makes them unique and brings the art to life.

Just like with the original Classic Art Tokens project, our success is your success as more Tokens, including the free Bonus Tokens, are unlocked through Stretch Goals.

 

We've got the first few listed, up to $50,000, but we have many more planned and ready. We reached that point on day 6 of the last project and we need your help to beat that for Marble Edition.

The Rewards are set, the Project is live, now we just need your help to make it a reality.

Get Ready for Classic Art Tokens: Marble Edition - 6 Days to Launch

Are you excited? 

We're excited.

We are only 6 short days away from clicking the Launch button for the Classic Art Token: Marble Edition on Kickstarter.  We can't wait and we hope you can't either.

If you haven't taken a look at the Preview page yet, I highly recommend it.  We're still working out some of the Reward images, but overall we are very happy with how it looks.  Feedback, as always, is greatly appreciated.

Final prototypes for Mats, Bags and Tokens are arriving and everything looks outstanding.  The Starry Night Playmat is positively brilliant and, what's this?

More van Gogh!

We couldn't resist including even more Vincent van Gogh artwork in the project, so we created a Skeleton with Burning Cigarette Playmat to go along with the Playmat Bag and Dice Bag that we had already planned to produce.

Classic Art Tokens Make A Great Gift

The delivery date on the Preview Page is no mistake, we are targeting all rewards to be fulfilled in December 2016.

Planning a project to deliver for the holiday season is a daunting task, but we are more than up for the challenge.

The current plan is for all Rewards to be in hand and for shipping to begin in early December.  We can't guarantee that the Tokens will be delivered in time to for the holidays, but we are going to do everything in our power to make it happen.

It's an aggressive schedule but we are confident in our suppliers and our process.

The Power of Crowds

It is a wonder to me how much a group of people can accomplish when they come together for a single purpose. 

I was recently at a college football game and found myself marveling at the crowd doing The Wave.  Watching it roll through the stadium, I wondered at the capacity of collective effort to create, even if it's something as simple as a bunch of people silently coordinating standing up and flailing their arms.

With the first project, we were able to create something that otherwise never would have come to be.  Without your help and support, it simply would not have been possible.  For that, I am endlessly thankful.

Maybe it's just the impending launch of the next project or the impact from the original one, but I continue to marvel at what we can achieve by working together.

I thank you for your continued interest in my projects and hope to have your support again with Classic Art Tokens: Marble Edition.

20 Days until Classic Art Tokens: Marble Edition

I hope your Summer has been going well.  Ours has been busy, but great. 

We're less than three weeks out from the launch of the next Project and we are ready to share some details with you, loyal backer.

First off, the name of the next project is Classic Art Tokens: Marble Edition.

Here is a brief rundown of the details and what's new:

• The project launches on Tuesday, Sept. 20th.
• The project will feature favorite Tokens from the last project, with all new art, and many brand new Tokens as well.
• The Full Set will launch with 54 Tokens and can grow to 126 with Stretch Goals
• New Token Collections! Cube, Pauper and an updated Standard collection
• Brand new line of Premium Tokens for the more distinguishing collector
• All new Playmats, as well as Playmat Bags and Dice Bags
• And much, much more

Feedback on the preview page is extremely appreciated.  All of the Reward Levels have been added.  We've even included some levels for anyone that missed out on the first project, so let your jealous friends know that we're looking out for them as well.

We are still working on more Playmat and Bag designs that I know you will be VERY excited about, but they aren't ready to be shown off just yet.  Trust me, they're pretty sweet.

We are also working on getting on a few Podcasts and other marketing lined up, but we'll need your help if we are going to hit the Stretch Goals to unlock all of the Tokens we have planned.

Single Tokens Now Available

Just a quick update today going over the details for single Token sales.

While we are still keen on setting up our own online store, we are currently fully engaged with upcoming projects. 

Since we know that you are still very interested in purchasing single tokens, we teamed up with 5 Color Combo.com to offer all 144 Tokens from the project for sale on their site.

 

After the test run of Tokens sold out in a day, we have decided to work very closely with the team at 5 Color Combo and they will be our exclusive retailer for online Token Sales.

We've had a great experience working with them so far and hope you do as well. 

Peek Behind the Curtain

Since we can't have an update without a spoiler for the next project, here is a design for a new product that we are pretty excited about.  It's still a work in progress, but I think we're pretty close.

We are getting ready for Gen Con and GP Portland while sorting through details for the next few projects, but we are very interested to hear what you and others have to say about the tokens now that you have played with them a bit.  Let us know in the comments!
